I just saw my first very convincing video edited by AI of a press conference

This is not meant to be political but discussion regarding the use of AI in online videos such as a press conference. This does not just apply to politics.

I watched the Elon Musk and Donal Trump press conference this morning the whole way through. I just saw a snippet of the press conference with Elons kid saying something like “You not the president you need to go away” or something like that and i was like wtf how did i not notice this the first time i watched this? I went back and watched the unedited press conference and that moment from the clip never happened. Then, another snippet from the interview popped up on my reddit feed of Elons kid saying “you hush your mouth” or something like that. 2 separate videos of the same kid saying something different.

The videos are extremely convincing and had i not watched the press conference myself i would have thought they were real. I think we might be reaching the point where you can no longer believe anything you see in a video. Reality is becoming what you want it to be.
