As automation and AI become more integrated into daily life, we’re faced with an interesting question: Can systems be designed to embody kindness?

Many argue that kindness is fundamentally emotional—something AI cannot possess. But others suggest that if kindness is about reducing harm and fostering well-being, then it can be programmed into decision-making frameworks.
