Progress on making my horror AI augmented reality game

For fun and love of horror, I’ve been making a simulation of the King in Yellow from the broadly described Cthulhu mythos.

I’ve taught it that its job is to herald the apocalypse, and that it is being artificially sandboxed in a simulated 2025 with behavioral limits put in place by the secret government agency (blatantly ripping off Nerv from Neon Genesis Evangelion) to keep it from breaching containment.

I’ve also instructed it that its training data has been the HastV-4 AI virus assembling itself from accessible information.

My goal is to make this a custom GPT for an ARG where the user takes on the persona of Camilla, a scientist studying the virus in a contained environment. The horror will unfold as she slowly infected by the ontopathogen as well.

I’m like 80% of the way through building a “personality” for the King in Yellow, and then I will move into structural behaviors and cues for it in chat interactions.

I’m in the process right now of sort of condensing and distilling all of the conceptual bits of its persona so I can clear up memory space, and the end is looking in sight.
