Honestly, I can see the time where people would need to change their work-style or way of working, because AI Agents are already here, and it changes the whole equation.
We have got agentic Coding Editors now, like Cursor and Kiro IDE, which can index the whole codebase and do things for you based on prompts alone. System Design knowledge becomes the key here.
Workflow makers like N8n, instant AI Agents for everyday apps in Evanth and good ol’ Zapier are becoming better, increasing the demand for AI integration, Context Engineering, and low-code, prompt engineering capabilities.
Given, the rise in AI tools, I feel like people who know how to prompt and are able to give the right context are most likely to be ahead as they can understand context limitations, prompt engineering and various other AI capabilities than people who are not using AI.
I’ve been using ChatGPT and Claude since literally the minute they came out and find it insane that majority of the people still don’t know or don’t use AI to help them in their day to day. Just walking around being 20 IQ points lower for no absolute reason is diabolical work in my opinion.
A person with an AI tool can soon be doing a better job than most people in their own fields.
A person using AI in their field can do an even more fantastic job
