How might AI impact the demand for physicians?

Of course doctors can never be replaced entirely, however will there be a reduction in demand for doctors or fewer positions offered because of AI?

AI can save a physician time by handling routine administrative tasks, documentation time, filling out forms, virtual assistants manage scheduling and prescriptions, AI scribes can reduce charting time. This will then technically make physicians more efficient at their job and could in theory reduce demand.

People always talk about AI replacing jobs but never about how this can make a doctor more efficient meaning less doctors can handle more patients and potentially demand will decrease, making medicine a harder field enter.
